You change the setting for the type of wideband controller in megatune "Configurator" - that is opened by being in megatune, clicking "File" and selecting "Configurator". You can't upgrade the firmware on the FIP.īut what your saying is you change the settings in megalog, and the FIP compyuer knows you changed the O2 sensor settings and reads correctly through Megatune?Īs above, yeah - just using version 2.25 p3 of the megatune software, not modifying any firmware on the ecu. Another way of doing it for the Tech Edge linear output: ini file - you can see the techedge linear modded for the ngk: wideband, correct ego corrections, correct switchpoints, etc. Of course you need to have the settings correct in megatune, i.e. Then in megatune, right click on a gauge, select AFR gauge, and should be good to go. I used the "techedge linear" and modified the settings to jive with what the actual WB gauge was reading. I had to modify one of them to make it work with my NGK wideband. You need to make the selection in the megatune configurator - not sure if everyones done that or not.Īnd then if you need to modify the settings, you need to change the Lambdasensor.ini file (usually found in C:\Program Files\MegaSquirt\MegaTune2.25\mtCfg)
